Rylstone Weekend 2013

A very big thank you to Alan and Sue Marshall for hosting our Windsor Cyclists Rylstone weekend on May 3-6, 2013. Nine members and their partners recently enjoyed a great few days cycling, bushwalking and exploring the Rylstone area.

Our featured ride for the weekend was out to Dunns Swamp, a pretty lagoon on the edge of the Wollemi National Park. Some enjoyed relaxing over a very leisurely morning tea/lunch while others walked out to the weir at the head of the lagoon. The unusual rock formations in this area are quite spectacular and good fun to climb.

The Rylstone area has plenty to offer in the way of quiet roads for cycling and interesting places to explore, including of course several wineries and excellent fare at the local pub. We look forward to our next visit!
